Trevor Mugwang’a holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce and Masters degree in Finance and Accountancy and joined MicroSave in August 2003. Prior to joining MicroSave, Trevor initially worked for two years in Kenya as financial analyst and credit officer for a microfinance institution and four years as head of finance at a commercial bank, gaining a broad range of experience in financial strategy, planning, management and internal control.

As a member of the MicroSave’s technical team, his focus is on the supply side activities, primarily servicing the Action Research Partners with advice and assistance on costing and pricing of financial services as well as planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating product pilot tests and rollouts.
